KNN
KNN is a conceptual packaging project that addresses the social misconceptions of hokkien as a crude dialect for the 'low class' in Singapore.

Hokkien Mee a local delicacy, named after the region in China from which early chinese immigrants brought the recipe with them to Singapore. Often served in hot and crowded kopitiams (coffee shops in hokkien), hokkien mee is relatively cheap, popular and iconic. It seemed like an appropriate symbol of our misunderstanding of the hokkien dialect.

I also adopted KNN, a local hokkien slang used by many Singaporeans in times of insult. Its luxurious high-end packaging is in deliberate, and mocking contrast to its actual product.
